EU Regulation 725/2004
Regulation (EC) No 725/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 March 2004 on enhancing ship and port facility security, focuses on strengthening the security of ships and port facilities against intentional unlawful acts.
It ensures the consistent implementation of the ISPS code across the European Union.
EU Directive 2005 /65
Directive 2005/65/EC on enhancing port security focuses improving security measures within European Union ports.
This directive complements EU Regulation 725/2004 and aims to protect the entire maritime transport logistics chain from unlawful attacks.
